Okay, so I was all teary-eyed when I finished Kingdom Hearts, and later all pumped for Chain of Memories...
So I turned it on...
Selected standard mode

...and then, Sora spoke.


I couldn't see.

I couldn't breathe.

That's how hard I was laughing and crying, at the same time, as I rolled on my living room carpet.

The first thought that went through my head was 'what happened?'

The second was 'puberty doesn't work that way. It's like ... his voice leveled up, but his body didn't. WTF?

(plus, it's only supposed to have been one day since the last game ENDED, according to the cutscene!!! WHATTHEFUCK?)

And then I realized that he had been restyled a bit. And not to look a bit older so that maybe the voice wouldn't clash so hard with his body, but to look smaller an more baby-faced.

Plus, all the other changes in the game suck, too. Good day.

. . . For a few weeks, anyway.

In approximately 3 minutes, I will be in an overstuffed minivan headed for the rural, middle-of-nowhere mountains nearest Boone, NC, USA, for 2-4 weeks on my 15th and my mother's family's 40-somethingth camping trip up there. My aunts and cousins and uncle (one aunt's gay, so I have 3 aunts, one uncle) and my mom and dad and brother, and 2 cousins (one for the pair of aunts, (age 11) one for the aunt and uncle, she is my age) and my grandmother. AH! Make that 3 seconds. BYE dA!!!!!! ;___;
